Rachel Wells (she/her) is an independent writer and journalist covering reproductive and abortion rights, sexual violence, and trauma. Her work has appeared on the cover of ACLU Magazine and in Rewire News, InStyle, Glamour, and Nashville Scene, among others. In addition to her writing, she has a decade of experience in editorial strategy, content development, and distribution.

In 2008, she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communication. After moving to New York City, she held positions at WME, Publicis Groupe, Dailymotion, and ZMG, a production start-up. Her projects have been featured in New York Times, Fast Company, New York Magazine, and Cosmopolitan.

Rachel lives in Nashville with her husband and son and spends her spare time hiking in the forest. She is currently seeking representation for her memoir on finding joy in death.
